take me away

Recently, I wish that i can get away from this urban city to an island with crystal clear blue sea and a sky filled with white and fluffy clouds. Basking in the warmth of the sun while letting the breeze get into my hair.

Or retire to a country side with vast green pastures and a fair blue sky. What a beautiful canvases they will be.

It is dreadful and disheartening to witness the monotony of the working crowd, hurrying to work day after day like zombies for the sake of money. I questioned myself if i will end like them in the years to come.

The noise of the traffic, the claptrap of human beings and that fast paced lifestyle. Do we slow down and appreciate the little details around us? Do we enjoy what we are doing now? Are we forced into a routine and system out of our will? Why do we do the things we do?

Last night, I dream that i was traveling around the world, snapping photos of the breath taking sights of nature and filling myself up with their beauty. That insouciant feeling. .

One can only dream.
