some things just set me thinking on the way i lead my life and my perspective on things,

well, my day did not start on a good note.
there was a commotion between my mum and her earlier, bout her skipping school to go johor to settle some stuff.

well, my day did not start on a good note.
i was woken by my the loud tum-ping noise produced by my sister in the early morning. she was locked outside the house as she forgotten to bring the key.
there was a commotion between my mum and her earlier, bout her skipping school to go johor to settle some stuff.
seriously,
i dont know who's right and who's wrong. in my mum's point of view, i'd rather she go to school and attend lessons, even though it's only 3 subjects.
her studies should be her main ministry now. i dont want her to end up regretting like me.
besides, it's rainy and i heard that it is flooding in johor. my mum's worried bout these factors including her safety too.
initially, i was on my mum's side but but as i began to put myself into zi's shoes, i start to get rly confused.
i know that zi is a sensible girl and it's not like she doesnt know how to think bout her own future.
besides school, zi has revival meeting today and i know that she values the revival meeting alot. giving up both school and revival meeting to go to jb, to her, i guess it's something that she feel that she ought to sacrifice to go to jb.
it's not that we dont support her dreams or the things that she do but it does not feel right to skip school, miss a revival meeting and disobey your parents despite of their strong opposition to go to johor.
maybe to her, it's alright to miss a few lessons (that's wad i tot when i was skipping school in sec 4) as we can always get back to school and get notes bout the lessons from our classmates.
but skipping school, does not leave a good impression to the teachers and the classmates around her. besides, it gives people the impression that we regard our education lightly. how can we tell someone that we want to excel in school and study hard while we skip school often? we are told we practise what we preach dont we?
many times, i feel like skipping work just to rest at home or to settle some stuff. but i told myself i can't cos i want to and need to learn how to be responsible in the things i do. i cant carry that "it's-okay-to-skip-school/work-once-in-a-while" attitude with me all my life.
as for the revival meeting, who know maybe someone is going through a huge crisis in his/her life and he/she is looking forward to the meeting to feel a touch from heaven to lift his/her burdens. but sadly there is no revival meeting this week.
i know zi regards her revival meeting and the people in it, just like how a cell group leader would regard the cell group meeting and his/her members.
the bible says, obey your father and mother.
i have to say that i've failed terribly in this aspect. but i'm trying to rekindled my relationship with my parents and things are gg well so far.
working with colleagues that are parents themselves, open my eyes to the agony a parent faces and the sacrifice they have to make just to provide a better life for their kids.
looking that how much my mum oppose to her gg to johor and yet she still went ahead with it, just made me more confuse if she's doing the right thing.
i dont know whether to give her my support or to stand on my mum's side. it's just so confusing.
i know that i'll get bombard for posting this post (just like what happened the other time.)
sometimes, i guess my sis just feel that i'll nv understand what she's gg thru. maybe i nv will but that will nv stop me from trying to cause
i love her very very much.
